Commercialization of SME Technology award

LCO Technologies is proud to announce that we received PTAC’s (Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada) 2018 “Commercialization of SME Technology” award for significant collaborative efforts in the successful field deployment of a CROSSFIRE solar instrument air compressor.

This award recognizes companies in the Canadian oil and gas industry who have made a significant contribution and shown leadership in the development of collaborative technologies that minimizes environmental impact. We are proud to be on the forefront of Canadian innovation and will continue to reduce Methane emissions from pneumatic instrumentation one tonne at a time.

In September 2018, LCO Technologies installed a CROSSFIRE Chemical Injection Pump and Instrument Air Compressor on a production skid reducing its carbon footprint to zero. There has been zero system down time, very minimal maintenance, and both devices have a combined average current draw of 900mA.
